Hoje Ananda e Guilherme vieram de visita e trabalho. Ananda é Engenheira Agrônoma e está estudando o "paisagismo comestível" ou "jardim sensorial" que pretendemos implantar em Gaia Terranova, tudo em sintonia com horta orgânica e SAF. Na verdade buscamos é tudo junto ao mesmo tempo mesmo, embora formando "ecossistemas" diversos. Então, no terreno em frente a casa maior vai uma pequena wetland e jardins com flores entre as frutíferas. Ao lado da casa outra wetland e sistema de biotratamento de águas negras e jardim de ervas, talvez integrados.
Ananda conheci a pouco tempo, durante a semana de ecologia em Pedralva. Guilherme apresentou. Esposa dele. Juntos tem o filhinho Ravi. Guilherme conheço a anos, desde os encontros na Palas Athena, nos cursos, no Espaço Jacutinga (Calendário da Paz). Guilherme é permacultor, bioconstrutor, comunicólogo acho, envolvido com a Gaia Education, Ecovilas e Educação Ambiental.

Today, Ananda and Guilherme came to visit us and exchange ideas about landscape gardening. Ananda is an Agronomist Engineer and is planning to implement an “edible" or "sensorial garden" in Gaia Terranova, taking into consideration the organic kitchen garden and the AFS already implemented. Actually, the aim is to have different sorts of gardens all together enabling the development of diverse "ecosystems". This way, in the area in front of the big house, we plan a small wetland and flower gardens among the fruit trees. Besides the house, another wetland and the biotreatment system for the black waters, possibly all integrated with an herbal garden.
I met Ananda, Guilherme’s wife, a few weeks ago at a conference on Ecology in Pedralva. Guilherme, I’ve known for many years, when we used to go to Pallas Athenas, attended courses together and studied the Peace Calendar. Guilherme is a permaculturist, bio-constructor involved with the Gaia Education Institute, Ecovillages and Environmental Education.
